Your home and the price it is listed, plays a major role how fast it will sell. Real estate companies advertise or market your home in the condition and price you have it offered. If you are getting showings and not contracts then perhaps your home (condition, layout, location, etc.) does not support the price it is listed. On the contrary, if you are not getting any showings then perhaps your price it too high. Either way, it's your home's responsibility to justify the price.
The secret is to work with your Realtor as a partner. You take care of the home and present it show worthy and let the agent tell prospective buyers about your home. Remember the real estate company's main job is to get buyers to your home; it's your home's job to seduce them.
